> Owner Cash Cockerill, refused to put in writing everything that we discussed regarding my $10k Western Windows order.  Instead of his 5-line invoice, I requested a Proposal Contract that includes the window sizes and energy ratings, an estimated installation date, a statement that the installation is done per engineering plan, and their lifetime installation warranty that they brag about on their web site.  Instead of being pleased that I am trying to avoid order errors and misunderstandings, the owner responded by saying he was a “simple man” and was uncomfortable with all my demands.  I believe there is only one reason why he refused to put everything in writing, and that is to benefit him.  I also understand now why he has so many left over products gathering dust in the back room.Be aware that it is against CSLB contact guidelines to not provide a detailed contract.

> DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!  This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.  If your sales person isn't available, nobody else in their office is willing to provide you with any assistance.  Then, once your pay for your product, they could care less if you're satisfied.  Our product was faulty and the owner Jamie, couldn't have been any less attentive.... we still do not have resolution almost 2 months later.  Our neighbors experienced the same thing.  Their sales person ordered the wrong window for them and the owner, Jamie, basically told them oh well.  New View instructed our neighbors to pay for another window if  they needed something different, despite the fact that A New View made the mistake.  This company is terrible.
