After several months of witnessing unfair treatment as a third party I have observed several things. While the business is nothing less than admirable, the management is possibly the worst I have ever witnessed.   If a firing / employee termination of over 25% of its employees in less than two months isn’t reflection of the atmosphere then perhaps I can add a little more.   Unfair business practices, discrimination, harassment and treatment of employees make a wonderful job opportunity to assist others, a terrible experience.   When employees are hired the business sells itself by touting patient first.  Those who care about the job are often subjected to racial slurs and epitaphs, profiling, offensive language and stereotyping are unfortunately common practice in t his professional organization.   Progression is not an option for Diversified.  It is a family run business where others not related are treated like outcasts.  Job performance and experience is not recognized.  Threats to employees are constant and statements such as “Just try and get a job in this economy,” and “Try and get a “job” recommendation from my company are a few things during meetings.  Unfortunately the remaining people are locked into the positions by fear and coercion and need income because they are single parents (and even they are quitting taking lesser jobs due to atmosphere created by management).  Management sit in their office, stream Netflix then, when done, they come and search your desk for personal belongings.   The boss is an intelligent highly motivated individual; however, her downfall is no management ability.    If you are considering employment, please do yourself a favor, do not apply here.  There are several other Patient Advocate Services nationwide.    Diversified Healthcare Resources is a \"CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT\" in the making.  There are several former employees out there who were great employees who quit or were unfairly fired.  Before you apply, do yourself a favor and ask is it worth it?","rating":1,"date_published":"2016-17-10"}]}
