Three days after the contract was signed and he had taken ownership of his car, a salesperson called to tell him to return to the dealer because they changed the terms of his contract. I advised him to go to dealership and see exactly what the issue was and to NOT sign anything before we take take it up with a lawyer. A few days later my son's car was towed (repossessed) from his place of work. The sales agent said the car was repossessed because my son yelled at him. I am now checking into filing class-action suit against dealership and Lobel - This is a terrible business that takes financial advantage of people who can least afford the costs of fighting back.","rating":1,"date_published":"2016-18-12"},{"author_name":"Alex M.","review_text":"Lobel Financial is perfect for people with low credit scores and very little excuses on not making payments.  They give you a 10 day grace period, plus low late payments, PLUS they deffer your late fee to the end of the contract.  And there was that one time where i told them i couldn't make one months payment but told them i would make two full payments the following month and they were fine with that. Never harassed me, or called me more than twice.  They can even deffer a payment to the end of the contract if you have a financial emergency, with a written and approved request of course.  Honestly they are soooo helpful, I am a customer with them and another financial company and this is the better of the two. By July 201, my car was, and is now completely dead. Lobel was good about helping me with late payments, but were always rude, and obviously my car is lemon. Since, the first day I drove it off the lot i have been trying to notify them of the problems. But no matter what, the reps were rude. And tried to charge me 200 dollars for not having insurance, even tho me and geico faxed over proof that i had insurance 2 days after i left the lot, and faxed over 20 times. Now, that my car is broke, I finally talked to a decent girl Darlene that was very understand and awesome, huge help. Berfore i talked to her I was going to let my car get repoed. Now They are deferring my payment  for August so I can get my car fixed. Right now, they are doing the right thing, but I also understand, I have also experienced what others are talking about.
