He immediately came out to see what was going on. He recommended to me that we replace the whole water heater. Since mine was the original, and my house was built in 1971. I trust his judgment. He said this model water heater had a few issues with parts failing, and it would be dangerous if we didn't replace it. Since he has done great work at my other house previously I asked for a quote. The very next day he installed a new water heater. I was happy with the price, he upgraded the plumbing for the gas as well. Welp I'm writing this review because 1 month after he replaced mine. My next door neighbor had their water heater set their house on fire. And it burned our joining fence. My next door neighbor had the same water heater, and it was exactly as old as mine. I'm truly thankful for the advice and the quick work that was done. I can't imagine if mine had caught fire like this. Danger adverted. Thank you Eric for saving my house from this hazard. I highly recommend, if Eric says replace it... trust that he knows what is in your best interest.
