I'm a single female and I've always been slightly nervous about taking my car in anywhere, b/c I never know if I'm being taken advantage of or not. The first time I came in to Sierra Smog was b/c I was seeking a 2nd opinion.  I'd been told by another auto shop that I needed some very expensive engine work done. The owner Steve immediately made me feel at ease. He explained everything to me and after looking at it,  told me that my car did not need what had been recommended. He replaced my air filter and that was it. I've been coming here ever since, and have recommended it to many family & friends b/c you know you're getting the absolute truth from these guys. It's a family owned place & their prices are low.","rating":5,"date_published":"2013-15-05"}]}
