When I finally went to look I was very suprised from the moment I arrived and during my entire tour. The sales office was wonderful and could not be more knowledgeable about there community. The greatest thing was all of the people I encountered all seemed genuine about what they were doing. The staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to make sure that their residents are happy and well cared for. I just wish that I could live there myself - right now!!!! However, there may be an occasion when we need to ask for help and not try it on our own. I have been using a walker for an extended period and am aware of the potential danger of trying to use the handrail and hang on to the walker at the same time, possibly causing an accident. If there is a question in our minds for our safety, ask the staff for help before starting on your own. Our staff is here to help and they do a fine job for us. The staff is friendly, kind and considerate and always have great concern for our safety. *4/9/2014 via Direct* --- **Andries M\.** - 2/5 > I had lunch with a lady friend at Rosewood today and appalled at the design. the ramp going into the dining room for older people is ridiculous. My 91 yr old friend is recovering from a broken hip and had trouble making sure her walker didn't run down the ramp. I helped her catch it. Yes, she could hold on to the wall ledge, but then she could use only one hand to guide the walker. She had to use their restroom and the door is so heavy I had to help her get the walker in and keep the door open. When I volunteered with the CAPHA, we suggested lighter doors on such rooms and sliding door sin other areas. Cal State was a big offender.
