I am very pleased with her progress at the school. She is able to understand subjects and read very well beyond her age of 5yrs. She will be attending public school in the fall. The kindergarten teacher at the public school was pleasantly surprised at her level of academic competency and highly praised Creative Day. He is getting ready for kindergarten and can almost read. I can't take any credit; it was all because of the great program at Creative Day. It wasn't completely structured, but then again it doesn't have a 3 year waiting list. A little pricey, but I feel it was worth it. The director is great. The teachers are very caring. My child gets breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack and its all included in the tuition. My son is entering Pre-k and has learned so much. its better than your average daycare nursery school. The staff is great. There are so many extra activates for the kids to participate in from swimming to karate to gymnastics, to piano. The only negative I have is that the students don't do work on dittos--everything is done on lined paper. Teachers can provide all the tools and basics but it's up to parents to help their child use it on a daily basis, practice makes perfect.
