> My son and I attended a performance at the Berkeley Rep's Rhoda Theater this week. We saw Argonautika, and were charmed by the small venue, the down to earth attitude of the employees and volunteers, from the young man at the ticket office who encouraged us to take advantage of the last standing room only tickets, to the friendly helpful ticket takers and ushers, to the sound engineer who kindly told us about his job when we asked him about it at the interval. The performance was exceptionally innovative. The facility is modern, comfortable - even the standing room, which happened to be stools with a rail to lean on - and - very importantly - there are enough women's toilets to accomodate the audience without queueing. Our tickets were $15.00. Quite a bargain and a wonderful night's entertainment.
