> I was in Palm Springs on business a few weeks ago; found myself having to stay in the area. Unfortunately due to a tennis tournament in town that weekend, there were absolutely no rooms to be found anywhere. I ended up at the Calimesa Inn as a last resort. I had only a few hours of downtime left and really just wanted to get cleaned up and changed. The owner of the Inn knew this and charged me twice the usual rate.
