Big time rip-off artists. Took my Kirby in for a new cord. As soon as I said that the "repairman" started in on how it might be much more. I said "no, the motor is running great. Just needs a new cord." Next thing I am being charged a $30 service fee up front, non-refundable. I should have walked straight out. Who does that?? No legitimate, honest business. No service was performed. I got uneasy about it all and called back. Repairman told me it wasn't working. I knew damn well it was and went and picked up my machine before he damaged it. He did not one lick of work but felt he somehow eared the $30. He "earned" it by being a rude, ugly con artist. The store is clean, organized, and big with a variety of vacuums and sewing machines. Now they have sewing machine classes. Affordable prices and financing available. Happy and loyal customer for life. *Invalid Date via Direct* --- **cindiacw** - 1/5 > The owner of this establishment is extremely rude, the first time I took a sewing machine in to be service for my mother, I forgot the pedal to make it run, he was very condescending because of it, after I dropped it off, he called my mother to let her know the machine was not worth repairing and tried to sell her one of his high dollar machines, she was charged just to have it looked at. The next time I went in I needed a part for one of my sewing machines, he told me if it was the wrong one I could bring it back. It did not work for my machine , as I was not given a time frame in which to return it, I took it back less than a month later. When I told him it did not work his repose was, that I had a week to return it, I was not told this and when I said so he gestured towards the wall where his price list is, this part cost almost $40.00 and he would not work anything out with me. I would NOT recommend this store to anyone.
