> My elderly parents purchased tile for their home from Carpet Empire plus a couple months ago. hey paid by check (which turned out to be a big mistake because they cannot dispute the charges). The checks were cashed the same day they wrote them! The sale man was very pushy and sold them a tile that they thought was porcelain. It turned out to be ceramic tile. The dye lots were off so bad that there are 4 different color tiles! They were not able to see the difference until the next day, and by then the check had already been cashed. The site keeps giving them the runaround and will not fix the problem. All that's wanted is to make it right, which involves taking out the tile and replacing it. The BBB and the contractors board have been notified and the next step is to call the local news media to let them know this company is taking advantage or elderly people. Buyer beware!!

> after visiting many stores i walked into their beautiful showroom in cathedral city which as all types of floors. their staff was very friendly and professional also not to pushy or in your face. after i selected my tile and carpet the estimator came out (at no charge) we finalized the price and they installed 1500sf of tile and 140sqyare yards of carpet. the crew was very clean and did a wonderful job. i will recommend and repeat. overall exceptional service and price
