He was impersonal and not forthcoming when answering our questions.  The interns were also impersonal and seemed confused as they moved from horse to horse as if working a disorganized assembly line. Dr. Fischer has a wonderful reputation as a surgeon, so perhaps that is where his talents emerge. Second visit: two years later my same mare was under Dr. Brauer's care when she suffered severe colic. She endured iv, treatment for ulcers, surgery, eventual quarantine, and finally euthanasia after 12 days. Dr. Brauer continued to insist that her vitals would improve and she just felt like \"crap.\" Meanwhile, the office called me each day to ensure that I paid the daily balance. It was Dr. Klohnen who spoke frankly and honestly, sharing his prognosis while filling in for Brauer.  I agreed that my horse had suffered enough; my beloved mare was euthanized that day. I'd like to think that Dr. Brauer did everything he could to save her, but I can't help wonder if he is incompetent, or a very good salesman.","rating":2,"date_published":"2014-16-10"},{"author_name":"ramossus","review_text":"I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL FOR ANYTHING.....HAVE BAD STAFF DIRTY ROOMS AND BATHROOMS, THEY NEVER CLEANED THE ROOM FOR THE THREE DAYS THERE.  BAD ATTITUDE FROM THE NURSES,THE HOSPITAL SHOULD HAVE COMPASSION FOR THE PATIENTS NO MATTER WHAT THE REASON THEY ARE THERE. MY HUSBAND WAS THERE FOR ALMOST A WEEK.  HE HAS TREATED REALLY BAD.  THAT'S HOW HE WAS TREATED  WHEN I WAS THERE I CAN IMAGEN HOW HE WAS TREATED WHEN NO ONE WAS WITH HIM...THIS HOSPITAL DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE A STAR ....","rating":1,"date_published":"2013-02-09"}]}
