My girlfriend ordered Shrimp Scampi horribile! full of lemon, I mean it tasted like a a field of lemons were in there. I has short ribs, really good, good polenta, tender beef. She tried the noodles with shrimp really spicy, bad nice place bad food. Get a better chef please!!!!!!!!!!!! All in all we had a pretty good time. Each time I've been disapointed in the food and each time I blame myself for ordering a wrong dish. However, on Saturday (7-21-07) I was entering some out of town guests and decided since the Walter's restaurant has such a beautiful setting, it would be the perfect choice. I decided to order the hamburger plate and thought they couldn't possibly mess that up - wrong! The patty was thin, dried-up and had to be cut (and hard to do) with a knife. The others in my party were very much disapointed in their meal too.
