If you want someone who is down to earth and is focused on dealing with the hard issues rather than wandering off into some sublime theory, this is your therapist  Be prepared to do the work that is required of you and to .confront your issues.  McTighe is compassionate, understanding and incredibly insightful. but he is not going to let you play games.  If you've had therapists who are more interested in putting you in some category or invoking some abstract nonsense that doesn't fit your situation, let me assure you that you'll find McTighe a remarkable breath of fresh air.
