In 2009 I was broken and no matter where I turned or what church I visited I felt disconnected and unwelcomed. I wanted to learn more about Gods word and I had questions that were tugging at my heart. A friend invited me to go with her to Connecting Point, and to be honest I did not want to go. But I figured what the heck I will try it grudgingly. To my surprise everyone made me feel welcomed and not judged. It was a breath of fresh air that I have been longing for. Pastor Pounds, and his family, are truly amazing people that I look up too. They are Christ-centered and not self-centered individuals. I came from another church that was "clique-ie" and made me feel like an outcast (not very welcoming). Some churches are filled with a congregation that just talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. This church is way different! From the preaching to the worship to the members of the church, you can feel and see God everywhere.If you've ever felt dead or stagnant in your walk with God I recommend trying out this church!
