I have been a renter for almost 12 years and have dealt with other management places and directly with the owners as well. This is one of the best places to rent from and if I were to own a home I would use them if I ever chose to rent out my home.Sally Barela is who you want to ask for and deal with. Her customer service is amazing!!! She has high integrity and truly cares about her tenants. She looks out for us as a tenant and the owner as well. Making sure everyone is happy and taken care of. When an maintenance issue arises, WOW they are fast at getting someone out to you to repair the issue. I have been a proud tenant of theirs for almost 2 years now and cant say anything ill about them. If it wasn't for Sally I really don't think I would continue to be a tenant. Right before I decide to renew my lease, I had to have a special accommodation in order to stay in my house I'm renting and without the help of Sally I truly believe if it wasn't because of her that the owner would have never agreed. In the end she was able to have them agree. Now that is someone who goes up and beyond for her tenants and the owner as well. My experience with O’Neil was positive UNTIL I needed repairs made! The bottom of my hot water heater completely fell out and I was charged a $75 fee because the plumber that came out said there was nothing wrong with the hot water heater 2 weeks prior. I was charged another $75 for missing an appointment for our broken microwave that I had called and cancelled. (By the way, we are still without a microwave almost 2 months later despite numerous phone calls!) Gail Blix, the general manager, is the most unprofessional, argumentative and positively rudest person I have ever had to deal with. Gail is one of the MAIN reasons my husband and I will be moving. The contract you sign with O’Neill is ridiculous. They will even show your apartment to potential new tenants with you still living there and if you refuse you will be charged! They have thought of virtually everything to benefit them and screw the tenant. She has been awesome, we didn t have much rental experience but she helped us through everything. She is very kind and patient, & trust me I called her several times with questions and she was very informative and kind throughout the whole time. (it would personally bug me!) She let us see the house a 2nd time, and did not rush us one bit.
