Not only was he always distracted with other business at the shop during his private lessons, almost everything he taught me, even the most basic technique, was incorrect. I play professionally now, but have spent years working to undo bad habits and errors that he started me with. I would have been better off going almost anywhere else, or even waiting a few years for a decent teacher. Please don't put yourself or your child through what I experienced.
