> Came in the Sanrio store w/my niece May 30, 2014 @ around 8:00pm. Upon walking into the store I saw 2 employees standing in the middle of the store (I thought to myself...no greeting from the employees? That was odd) &amp; as my niece excitedly enter she quickly diverted her attention to the right side of the store, about 5 mins into us shopping I hear very friendly HELLO's from the employees to the guest &amp; I said "oh so you do speak!!, I wonder why I didn't receive that same welcome?" Either one of the employees didn't acknowledge my comment!! My niece &amp; I still continued to shop, several more guest  came into the store &amp; not a hello was unturned, it was just as friendly as the first one I heard (but they weren't speaking to me), my niece selected her items that I was purchasing for her &amp; I made my selection too (I am a HUGE Hello Kitty FAN), as we approached the counter I was really feeling apprehensive about spending my money in Sanrio but I just could NOT bring myself to disappointing my niece so I went ahead &amp; made the purchase, I let the lady know how very insulted I was that we weren't greeted when we first walked in &amp; to add insult they greeted EVERYBODY else, who didn't make a single purchase!! I let her know how their actions were "very RUDE &amp; I'm spending my money too" I also said how "it's very hard not to see me, how can you not notice me?" I didn't badger the lady because for 1 my niece was standing there &amp; 2 that isn't my nature, with that being said the employee STILL didn't even acknowledge what I said!! I WILL not ever go into that store...I don't care if everything in there cost a DOLLAR, I won't set foot back in that store!!! It saddens me to know that people still don't accept the color of my skin &amp; that is so sad in this day &amp; age, I'm always hopeful that these things have been overcome but obviously it hasn't! I'll take my business else where.
