> 1.  The $99 move-in special; ever hear of this special?  I bet you have, and not just from this complex, but several others.  READ: It's IS a $99 deposit - but what you don't see, till after the fact, is that in reality, it's a $500 deposit.  In other words, if you think you're going to leave this complex without paying for a ton of stuff, you're wrong.  They charge you the $99 up front and when you leave, tack on $500 for "damages" that you need to pay for (I was lucky - I got hit with painting of the front door, the patio hand rail - pretty much everything - ok, not so lucky).  In other words, the $99 move-in special is just a sales gimmick - get ready to shell out when you move-out.
