I detailed and described the dog that I just rescued and asked how much it would cost to have her spayed and shots be given. The guy wouldn't give me an answer and said that I'd have to bring the dog in to get an estimate. I asked what the normal rate or guestimate is for an animal in the same breed and weight class, and again he rudely said to come down and get an estimate. Why? My dog isn't a freaking car or commadity a$$hole. I've had 4 other places give me price. What? Want to lure me over there and milk as much as you can out of someone? Why even have a phone if you're not willing to communicate prices? We had gone to other vets, but none of them provided the personalized service that Dr. Kelly does.  He has always been available when we need him, even meeting us at the clinicon a Sunday afternoon after our Jack Russell ran into a cactus. He sedated her and removed the quills from her nose inside her mouth.  He has always been right onon his diagnosis and treatment for our dog and cat.  He gets lab results quickly andcalls to let you know.  He formulates a plan for treatment and follow up and explainsit to you.  Accessibility is of the utmost importance to us, and Dr. Kelly has always been there when we needed him.  We have always felt very confident of hisprofessional expertise. He treats the animals effectively and with care, diagnosing problems quickly and resolving them with ease. Treatments are always explained to us, and if there are options he is always very transparent about what is involved, and we trust his judgement and recommendations completely because of this.Issues that other vets complicate and require extensive testing and guesswork, Dr. Kelly is able to understand, explain, and resolve with professional simplicity. For our dog's irritated skin, he simply changed their diet and now they are healthier than ever with perfect skin and coats. Other vets required testing and recommended ointments and shampoos, etc., none of which solved the problem. His prices are also the best we've found, and for the care both pets and people receive in his clinic, I would not hesitate to say Dr. Kelly and his Clinic are the best value in town.
