> Sweet & spicy smoked meats: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, hot links, and rib tips. Complete with delicious sides: mac n cheese, potato salad, corn bread, collard greens, black-eyed peas, baked beans, green beans, cole slaw, and the best yams.

> OMG what fabulous BBQ Ribs, Brisket, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, and good home cooking at BBQ Amor. I work in El Cajon and I am so tired of eating the same food every day and was so excited BBQ Amor opened today. They hadn't quite opened when I arrived and I was so disappointed. I peeked my head into the restaurant and Becky the owner waved me in to say they were just finishing up and weren't quite ready to open. When I explained I didn't bring a lunch she and her "BBQ Master" (David) loaded up a carry out filled with brisket, BBQ ribs, beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, sausage and gave me enough for four people at no charge.Becky the owner made me feel like I was visiting a long lost friend. In addition to the food, she gave me Snapple and a carryout order that was put together very well and was easy to carry.I love the plastic containers Becky chose for carry out orders. I know the pastic containers cost much more than a an average carry out container, however the presentation and scent of the food made my mouth water in anticipation of my first bite. AND IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST BITE! The BBQ sauce is like none I have ever had. It is sweet, but not too sweet and the flavors bring me back to my childhood days at family BBQ's. Every bite was delicious and the combination of the cole slaw, beans and everything else was just perfect. Extra BBQ sauce, napkins, silverware was in the carryout making it so easy for me to sit down and eat without having to do anything but enjoy. One of my pet peeves is when restaurant owners/managers are rude, don't say hello, and when my order is missing silverware, condiments, etc and  BBQ Amore is just the opposite. The superb customer service coupled with the special attention to detail, i.e., plastic containers that make the food look appealing and keep the BBQ ribs, brisket from drying out or leaking out of a bag kept the food hot and the presentation of the food was wonderful.Becky, the owner is exceptionally accommodating and nice, and makes you feel at home. This is the perfect  restaurant to take food home to your family when you don't feel like cooking and/or when you  are craving BBQ Amor!!!
