> The USPS has no heart and charge way to much to change a lock at my community mailbox. . My keys were stolen so I called to have the lock changed and they charge $50.00. Are you kidden me? A lock smith would not charge that much. When they have you bent over a barrel they really stick it to you.

> Today was a extremely hot day (107) - but I was anxious to get my passport renewal completed. I had the application completed, my photo's, birth certificate and my old passport. It was very busy, 18 customers in front of me - but I waited my turn graciously - continuously fanning myself due to the heat. I arrived at 4pm and at 4:57pm it was my turn ! I put my papers on the counter and explained I was doing a renewal. The woman did not hesitate a moment, "No, you have to come back another day between 10am and 3pm, that's when we do passports."  My response, "where does it say that. I went on line and it gave your hours and it stated you did passports, but it said nothing about 10a-3p.  You have no signs anywhere on your boards or your windows explaining your limited hours." Just then a different customer service agent walked up and said, "I can do this for her right now, it's not a problem." To which my service agent said, "No, look at the line we're too busy to do it now."  I responded, "Yes you do have a long line, I just waited in it myself for the past 57 minutes - waisted because you have decided to change the post office official hours for assisting customers with passports.  I will be making an official grievance with the US Post Master General. Lori
