> Vitas innovative hospice care is so innovative there is no care at all.  In the 10 days  they were supposedly in charge, referred from UCLA, I was confronted by routinely incompetent, lazy unknowledgeable people with titles of RN,MD,LVN,CARE GIVER< PHARMACIST et al.  Started with 4 hour grilling by an RN acting as an admission clerk using family time with the patient.  Next day an RN checking up on the first one?.  Followed for the next 8 days with a sucession of people doing nothing.  A call to senior administration RN supervisor led to the bottom rung, an RN so abusive, insulting, demanding that she must have been trained in AUSWITZ.  Barely knew how to use a computer yet used more than 4 hours  family time, insulted caregiver, and ending with a slight change to working booklet,with a status report that my wife was alert while in fact she was in a deep coma ,died 6 hrs later, obviously to deny advanced care.  MD and Pharm.negligent    USE  VITAS AT YOUR PERIL!!
