> A diamond in the rough, The Vintage Cafe is a very nice get away cafe without driving too far off I-80. I am a native of the Fairfield area for over 40yrs and I have traveled the Back Orchard Roads of Fairfiled/Suisun by foot, bike and car and I will always make it a point to stop at the Vintage. The selection of dishes can meet the expectations of a large group or small group. The prawn salad is excellent for lunch. An excellent fresh & crisp salad with all the fixings. The chef also does an excellent job on the pork chops. Me Mum also enjoyed the pork chops and had extra for lunch the follow day. Very nice wine selection at a affordable price. I need to mention, The Vintage fills your wine glass up! The service has always been top notch. Courtesy, Professional, and the staff really likes to be NICE.  The Vintage Building has been around for awhile you can notice it by the old  touches on the building. But they have done an excellent job inside and out to reflex current year updates. The outside patio is very nice, The main sitting area is diner style with a bar to eat or drink at but remodeled to feel very comfortable. The extra dining area to your right is also filled with nice decor and snap casual environment but flexible for all who come with an appetite. The deserts are good. And you can take walk around the area to burn off desert and do a little window shopping or just enjoy the cool night this little tucked away gem can provide. Oh, The bathrooms also follow the decor of the main dining areas and are clean and fresh. Try The Vintage, I'm sure you will like it! Author Stephen W. Johnson
