I once stood in line for nearly a half hour, with ONE cashier working an exchange that was obviously way past her competency level. I asked another store associate who was making jewelry if she could help, and she said she couldn't. (Making jewelry is more important than customers, apparently.)  Three customers left before they made their purchases, because they got fed up waiting.
