This other guy not the cb shop  f$@ked up the radio to a point that it didnt work. So I took my radio to the  cb radio shop to have it fixed, they had it for a couple of days then called me and told me it was fixed.  I went to pick up my radio and decided to have them install a rodger beem. The tech didn't seem to happy to do it, but tried any way after about two hours I asked him if out would be better to come back later because he couldn't seem to get the radio to work at all after trying to install the rodger beep, so I left.  Later that night he called back to tell me that the radio was all done. So the next day I went up pick it up, I got there to find out that I needed to pay another 45 dollars for his service and this is when he told me that the rodger beep couldnt be installed.  When I got home to hook up my radio I noticed that the radio wasn't mine due to some scratches and items missing on my orginal radio at this point there wasnt anything I could do because it was sunday and they are not open on sundays, so on the following monday I called keith which now I know owns the shop and explaind the whole problem and what had happen. (the shop tech took another radio that looked like mine and and gave it to me without telling me what had happened.) so I continued to explain to Keith that I paid a lot of money to have the radio fixed and mods added to the radio which one of them couldnt be installed (rodger beep) and now I didnt even know if this radio that they gave me had all the work done to it. So at the end of the phone conversation Keith said he would follow up with the tech and find out what happen. (Update) 11/12/12I went to the cb shop and was surprised to find out that the tech was going to purchase a brand new radio and give it to me in place of the orginal radio that I had dropped off to have fixed. So before the tech could purchase a the new radio I asked if I could upgrade my radio and pay the difference....... they said yes and they would do the mods for free. Well needless to say I jumped all over that deal. Im now the proud new owner of a connex 10 meter general lee radio that out talks any radio I have had in the past.  So now as you can see I brought the star rating up from a 1 to a 3 as they stood by there word and made things right. Just to set things right I have had work done here before this mess and had never had any problems so I dont know what happen this time, so it just goes to show that you should never trust any one and always verify everything, I would even go so far as to mark your products if you plan to leave them to make sure you get back what you drop off.","rating":3,"date_published":"2012-13-11"},{"author_name":"justin.goad.5","review_text":"Over the last 4-5 years I've spent a few grand here. Between all the tuning of several radios (which were always exelent) to anteanna's (the best they have in my opinion is the \"big al\") I even purchased a 50th aniversary cobra 29 before they got them in and had them max it out. Turned out to be my favorite radio. I call him when I am coming into town and he takes care of me. He also broadcasts \"radio type\" shows on the cb and it is so entertaining. He is usually on channel 19. I think he should be on the regular radio. He's funny.
