> Highly recommended: Knowledgeable, good prices, excellent service - I had Auto Techies did the 90k miles Inspection II on my BMW 740, as well as two independent repairs (one done along with Inspection II, when the Service Engine light was on).  At both times, I've checked with several mechanics shops, and Auto Techies was not only the cheapest, but also the most knowledgeable about what's going on.  During the most recent problem when I explained to two other shops about the loud noises, neither of them had any idea (and one of them actually had the car for two days but still couldn't figure the problem).  Auto Techies' manager was able to tell me immediately what he suspected over the phone, and then showed it to me when I brought in the car.  While he quoted me about $600 parts and labor over the phone to be conservative and which I was okayed with, he ended up charging me only $480.  I have had my BMW for the past six years with a number of mechanics, Auto Techies is by far the best
