Steve at AR Transmissions is a very friendly helpful and honest person that made sure that I was a happy customer. They offer a great warranty on their work and they stand by their work and warranty. In my case I started having an issue with my transmission while it was under the warranty period. The problem was very hard to diagnose because it only occurred intermittently and wouldn't you know it, it seemed to never occur when I would bring it into their shop. They went to great lengths to diagnose the problem and I even rode with them while they monitored the vehicles computer with a mobile computer monitor and the problem never occurred. When the problem finally started happening more frequently I was out of the warranty period. When I brought my vehicle in I was amazed when they let me know that they would fix the transmission under warranty even though it was out of the warranty period. I think this says a lot about the credibility of the shop. They really went to great lengths to make sure I was happy even offering me a ride home when I needed one. I would highly recommend this shop. *8/12/2012 via Direct* --- **jenlyons** - 5/5 > I went to a shop in Clovis, charged me 75.00 for a diagonstic, took 9 days, gave me a qoute of 2800.00! When i asked for the print out so i can price compare he asked me to leave. He didn't do it! A friend told me to go to AR, ask for Steve. He DID the diagnostic and fixed the car in 5 hours for 186.00!!!! Unbelievable right??? There is actually an honest shop left in the valley. Anyone who needs their tranny fixed ask for Steve...he's now on my christmas card list!
