> It is common to have low expectations for a dealership sales or service experience, but I've had quite a few good ones. Sadly, Star Mazda had never provided one. We have experienced overpriced estimates compared to other Mazda dealers in the area, and one repair that resulted in a very dangerous follow-up condition (which they apologized for, at least.) I've had better experiences elsewhere, and I suspect you might, too.

> My car was stolen in July 2012 when temps were high and my bank account low. I actually did not consider buying a Mazda, but stumbled upon Star Mazda while car shopping on a 100+ degree day when I just needed a break. A sales rep brought me some cold water, I told him what kind of vehicle I wanted, and within two hours I had a fabulous car (named him Ernie) at a fair price with decent financing. Better yet, whenever I have taken my Mazda 2 in for any kind of service -- tire repair, tune-ups, detailing -- the service has been friendly and efficient (including emergency repairs on a Saturday morning). I get all my questions answered and issues addressed honestly and in a friendly manner. I had such bad experiences with dealerships in the past (blatant lying, losing my keys, breaking things during tune-ups) that I am astounded to be leaving a glowing review for one, but frankly I believe Star Mazda deserves five stars plus for putting customer satisfaction first.

> I am compelled to write about an impeccable customer experience I enjoyed at Star Mazda. I went in to buy out my lease, but ended up leasing a new model. The finance lady (Donna - she's great!) laid out all my options, clearly, logically, with not an ounce of pressure - she, of all people, sold me the car! Honesty and transparency are hard to find with car dealerships! When the (often infamous) sales guys got involved, I was pleasantly surprised that they too were honest, upfront and very helpful. Overall excellent customer service and a great experience all round! They deserve my 5 "Star" rating!
