I truly appreciated her thoroughness and efficiency. I mistakenly thought a practice inside Costco to be a contact/glasses millnot so at all. Dr. Bream identified a pre-existing medical condition I neglected to put on my patient survey. She also taught me more about my vision issues and my medical condition than my former optometrist did in over 5 years of visits. She had a depth and breadth of knowledge in her field I would have expected from someone in a high end boutique practice. She is a consummate professional and at the top of her game. Im not easily impressed but she absolutely exceeded all expectations. Notwithstanding the doctors skills the office staff is friendly, courteous, respectful and equally as efficient as the doctor. She is the best in Santa Barbara and I have been seeing eye doctors here for 25 years and have gone to some of the best known. She is great at explaining things, is super sharp and tells it like it is in simple terms. Since I am a contact lens wearer and can sometimes get into trouble on the weekend with eye discomfort and infections, I love the fact that you can get in right away in an emergency and seen much faster than a traditional eye doctors office. Cory is competent, professional and pragmatic. I came in to see her with an eye infection / corneal edema (due to my old & dirty rgp lenses) and she had to see me for several follow up visits, yet kept charges to a minimum and gave me free loaner lenses and solution to get me through the interim, etc. She's great at explaining options and telling you why she recommends a specific course of action. I haven't yet received my new lenses, but I have no doubt they will be exactly right.
