> I took my son for the first time, my appointment was at 1pm, he was put in a room at 3pm, I had taken my 3 other babies with us, they knew my babies were sitting crying on the stroller all that time, and my son n my other toddler kept saying how hungry they were, they didn't care and not only that but the took in a woman who walked in without appointment about 1.5hrs after us, I had to leave because my babies couldn't take it any more, neither could I, but my son stayed and all he was told was that he had 2 cavities and to make an appointment to come back, I would be insane to go back, disgusting practice, save your self the head ache and hassle and don't go there!

> I am a new customer to this business and I have not had any problems regarding billing. I originally registered over the phone and made sure my insurance was aware. When I called my insurance they had recieved a call from the dental office and had cleared all my coverage. I believe your situation was a misunderstanding and you might be taking this over board. Hope things clear up for you and you take back your bad review.

> *BEWARE* STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS, THEY ARE SHADDY, & LIED TO ME ABOUT MY INSURANCE COVERAGE & ENDED UP CHARGING ME A BUNCH OF OUT OF POCKET COSTS. I went to this place on the recommendation from a family member that had a chipped tooth repaired with him. I saw the work and it was pretty good so I decided to give his office in Granada hills a call to have similar work done. I called the office and spoke to Lilian and scheduled an appointment. While on the phone she asked me what insurance company I belonged to and took down my social security number so that she can verify my insurance. I asked if they accepted that form of insurance and she said "YES"My appointment time came around and I went to the office. Having heard of a TON of dental horror stories about unscrupulous practices, up-selling of unneeded "deep cleanings," and billing nightmares I was extremely cautious about making sure I wouldn't get charged or "sold" services that I didn't need or would have to pay out of pocket for. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist asked me to complete some standard information. As I was standing there, I SPECIFICALLY asked if they verified the insurance and that they would cover everything that I needed to be done and she said "YES". So to clarify, I asked her if there would be any out-of-pocket costs and she said "no, your mom has a discount with us so the insurance will take care of everything"Shortly they escorted me to the examination room to take some x-rays and asked me to initial a page that I authorized the service. I stopped the tech, and I asked again... is the insurance covering this? and she said "YES" the insurance will cover it. Believing what she said, I initialed the page. To make a long story short, they offered a "deep cleaning" which I KNOW was an up-sell that dentists are KNOWN for... and I asked again, is the insurance covering this? if not, I don't want it. They said "yes" the insurance will cover it. THEN then did the same thing again asking if I wanted to change out some of my older fillings, and again, I stopped them and asked if the insurance would cover, and again they said YES.After all of the procedures, I left thinking that wasn't so bad. About 2 weeks later, I get A BIG BILL for $1875.00 for services rendered. I WAS SHOCKED... So I spoke to the receptionist again to discuss the bill and they refused to discuss the issue over the phone (probably because they're afraid that I would record the conversation) and they kept saying that I was responsible for the bill because the insurance company wasn't covering it.. I was FURIOUS. They said that when they called to verify the info w/ my insurance company.. My insurance company said that I had a PPO plan (which they take), but when they sent in my paperwork to the insurance company for payment... the insurance company sent it back saying I had an HMO (which they don't take). Personally, I don't even think they called my insurance company in the first place. I HIGHLY DOUBT my insurance company would give them incorrect information. Furthermore, insurance companies generally give authorizations for services. At every point when they tried to sell me additional services I specifically asked if the insurance company would cover the services and they always said YES, there would be no out of pocket costs.. but they LIED to me about my insurance coverage at every juncture and then billed me for the charges. PATIENTS BEWARE...
