Late last year, we rented this hall for a party. The rental agents of the hall called me back OVER TWO WEEKS LATER to tell me that there was damage on the tile floor and that they needed to keep my deposit in order to cover the costs. However, within these two weeks, there were other parties that were hosted at this venue, and the damage must have been done by another party; I know for a fact that we weren't responsible for the damage, as I mopped the floor when we cleaned up at the end of the night and saw no damage whatsoever comparable to that which they accuse us of being responsible for. I just can't help but wonder if one or more of the other parties that were hosted here between the time we hosted our party and the time we were contacted about the damage were also told that their deposits were being withheld due to the same alleged damage.
