My father in law came in and left a $4000 cash deposit for a 2005 330i bmw. He signed no contract and he did not leave this lot with the car. They gave him a written receipt for his deposit that day. He called on Friday saying he changed his mind and no longer wanted to purchase the car. The person who answered the phone instructed him t come on Saturday and they would return his money. He arrived on Saturday and was told that they wouldn't refund his money. I was concerned that they may be taking advantaged of him as English is his second language that my Husband called on Monday. He spoke to a man over the phone who said no problem come by on Tuesday and we will give you a check.
