> This place sucks I bought a bunch of stuff for my bike that came out to about 300 bucks one of the items was a rear 700 rim for my road bike it didn't come with a sprocket so I bought a 8 gear sprocket to put on the 700 rim. I asked the worker if he could snug up the sprocket on rim for me he said it would be $12 shop time to do it so I said are you kidding me it take 5 seconds to do it and I just spent 300 bucks in your shop. He said I can sell u the special socket for $10 you can do it yourself. So I said can I speak to manager thinking once he sees I just spent $300 hell say no problem we can do that for u real quick on the house but then the owner walks up and says no we can't do that for free but for $12 bucks no problem ARE U FUCKING KIDDING ME I JUST SPENT $300  & THE ASSHOLE SAYS SIR YOU NEED T QUIT SWEARING AT ME BEFORE I CALL THE COPS UNBELIEABLE DONT EVER GO HERE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS EVERYTHING IS OVER PRICED AND OWNER IS A DEUCHBAG try one of the bike  shops in castro valley great customer service and good people CYCLE PATH SUCKS

> Employees at cycle path are incompetent went in on 10/31/2015 to buy a chain for my fixed gear bike. Alex told me I don't need a chain breaker. as I am being rung up by a lady named Amelia she  stats "I need a chain breaker". so we go back and talk to Alex he says we don't I continued with my purchase. I went to install it and come to find out I needed a chain breaker. So today 11/4/2015 I decide to go back in and tell them what had happened. the owner wasn't helpful blamed me for the miscommunication and won't acknowledge his employees mistake..I asked for a 10% discount on a chain breaker for the mistake and the manager couldn't give me an e explanation as to why he couldn't. I shopped here before with phenomenal help but this experience rubbed me the wrong way. I Won't be shopping here again and you should do the same until the employees are trained and competent, and the manager/owner doesn't reward his employees for there incompetence.
