> I live in Vancouver, WA and have relatives in Cloverdale and Healdsburg. When I come I stay at the WorldMark in Windsor. I was driving down I-5 Sunday afternoon south of Redding when I heard a "whack" sound. I figured that it was a rock that hit something besides the windshield, since I didn't see a chip.I pulled into Corning which happened to be the next town and host of The Olive Pit where I wanted to stop. As I pulled up to the off-ramp stop I noticed some white smoke coming from the hood. However, I had just spilled some oil topping up in Anderson so I didn't think anything of it. I turned under the freeway and when I came to the light at the other end of the underpass, the engine would not slow to an idle. It kept revving up on its own. I looked at the gauges and noticed (thankfully) that the temperature was just below the red line. I turned into a parking lot and let the car cool off and then looked in the radiator. Dry. And it took an entire bottle from the parts store across the street -- lucky me -- to fill it. I looked under the hood and sat that it was dripping profusely but not a flood. So I drove 30 miles and refilled it. Drove 30 miles and refilled it. And so on to Windsor, about six fills later. I was in a world of hurt because I've gotta get back to Vancouver; I brought a bunch of technical stuff to do recording of my family. My nephew called Andrew at Capricorn and told him the story. He said, "bring it in", and a day later after several twists and turns, Andrew had identified the culprit hose and replaced it. He actually had to fabricate the hose because the car is a 1990 Acura, not something you see all the time nowadays. Thank you Andrew, very much.

> I love Capricorn Automotive. I needed to have the airbag light on my BMW diagnosed/cleared, after I repaired the window motor. I found Capricorn on Google. (After the dealer did not return my phone call for two days!) Andrew (the owner) said come right in. When I got there, he waved me in immediately, and checked my problem. He fixed it in a matter of minutes! When I asked what I owed him, he said nothing. I thought I misheard him! A couple of weeks later my A/C went out on our SLK230. Figures, it was a Friday, and the hottest day of the year so far. I called Capricorn, and again, Andrew said come on in. He presented two options to recharge the A/C. The cheap version, but if there were a leak, it could cost me more in the long run, because all the coolant could leak out. The other was only $50 more, and I would know if a leak was present. The dealership has never offered me a cheaper alternate! As a woman, it is tough to find a repair shop that I can trust. I value integrity, and Iam happy that I found Capricorn! I highly recommend Andrew, and Capricorn Automotive
