I have a tankless water heater that has a leak, Dave thought it was for new installation or replacement. When I told him it will be for repair, he right away told us that he is not familiar with the repairs on a tankless heater, I was very much impressed with his honesty, but he did check where the leak is coming from and he advised me to call the manufacturer to inform them of the problem. He also told us that it is still under warranty . What a relief...I'm so thankful for the time Dave spent trying to contact the manufacturer himself. It is very seldom that you find someone that is honest and willing to spent time even if he 's not going to do the job. I had bad experience with other plumber before who takes advantage of homeowners who is not knowledgeable on plumbing issues, they "hiked" their charges both on parts and labor.
