> The shop is pretty far from my everyday zone, but the last time I was here, the mechanic performed an exemplary job on my old 944.  He is a true and skilled German mechanic, and an amusing character who will not hesitate to scold you for keeping your car in such poor maintenance, but his reasonable prices more than make up for the good-natured guilt trip.  Call before you go in--maintaining a lot of older cars can be time consuming, and you want to schedule the best moment to drag yours in.  You can get an oil change anywhere--but if you want a mechanic who knows the idiosyncrasies of every Porsche ever made, this is the place to go!
