La Crescenta Motel was the only option in the neighborhood, but it perfectly suited my purposes.   Older style motel, but the one bed was just fine (Rm #3, queen size). Bathroom simple and clean (no tub, just shower stall).  Bath towels not as paper thin or sandpaper as other like motels might be.   True, no soap, shampoo etc amenities provided, but I travel with my own.  Room has small fridge and micro, cable tv with many channel options, old style wall heater and a/c in the window.  Also a desk with chair, an other sitting chair.  Various eating options in walking distance.  Would certainly stay here again!","rating":4,"date_published":"2013-19-12"}]}
