First off it's at the beach, what's not to love there? Second, they have killer food and reasonable prices. Third, their service is truly above and beyond any mid-high end restaurant in Orange County. The staff seems to love where they work and who their working for. Fourth, desserts are to die for. Always a tough decision, the chocolate fudge cake or the toffee pudding cake. She behaved as if we were a bother to her and she seemed overwhelmed. We had the misfortune of having the same bartender every time we went to Nick's. It was a great place to go to after a longggggg week of work. I had the asian pasta salad and top sirloin. The best food I had in a long time in Laguna/Newport area. Their salad was so fresh, presentation of the food was like I went to a really expensive restaurant, and it just melted in my mouth. The price was very reasonable. They are open pretty late, so I was able to eat there after I got off work. Make a reservation because they are busy. The service was fantastic. They really paid attention to every detail. They refilled my iced tea right away when it wasn't empty empty. I highly reccomend you to go there. They have an awesome little patio area for you to lounge.
