> Leslie's has been in the AV for many years. When I had a lot of problems with pool service they were very helpful. This was in the 90's. I can still count on them to have products I need.Something all pool owner's should know and do is to check with friends who've had or own pools before investing . Just a hint after reading other reviews.Good luck to all and stay cool in your pool!Don &amp; Mary

> I bought a pool pump last week at Leslie's. The man who waited on me was nice enough to scan a 20% off coupon for me so the total came to around $400. I paid with my debit card and before I even had a chance to put my wallet away he had my purchase out the door. I thought that was a little strange. I came to find out why later. He didn't want me to notice the signs with the "free installation" offer. I found this out the next day from a friend who I had called to help me install the pump. After reading the directions I realized I couldn't do this on my own. My friend told me that Leslie's was offering free installation. So I called the store and they reluctantly admitted that, yes, I could have free installation. He gave me the number of their service dept. so I called &amp; set up an appointment for the day after Labor Day.  When the service tech got to my door I asked him exactly what free installation included because I had spent every last dime of our money on the pump. He told me the total would be $145 and the salesperson at the store should have credited me that amount on my sales receipt. Well, obviously he didn't so I sent the tech away and took the pump back to the store. After a few go rounds with the manager there he said he wasn't about to give me free installation on something that I had bought the week before and it wasn't his salesperson's fault that I didn't notice the signs, etc... He told me he could refund my money and I could take my business elsewhere. So he reversed the charge to my debit card but it's been 3 days now &amp; the money still hasn't shown up in my bank account. Come to find out he treated it as a credit card on the return so it will take longer to get my money back. Vindictive is what I call it. I will not ever do business with these people again. Very sneaky, underhanded, and don't care about their customers.
