> My husband and I sign a one-year lease for our apartment on E 10th Street, at the end on March 2011, the paperwork with the lease included a "bed bug addendum" that stated that the owner verifies the apartment is bed bug free and we sign that we are not bringing anything into the apartment that has bed bugs.  At the time of the lease signing we asked Yolie with L.B. Brokerage if they had ever had a problem with bed bugs and she said no.  On the day we moved into the apartment, we found bed bugs on the wall and dead bed bugs in the bath tub as soon as we realized they were bed bugs we called L.B. Brokerage.  They insisted that we had brought the bed bugs with us so we took their exterminator to our previous apartment and with our previous manager there he inspected that apartment and found no bed bugs or signs that there had been bed bugs.  They have sent an exterminator out 4 times and the bed bug problem has not gotten any better.  We have since learned, from our neighbors, that there has been a problem with bed bugs in this apartment building since Summer of 2010.  L.B. Brokerage continued to try to blame us for the bed bugs and we do not believe that they are making any real effort to eradicate the problem.And are now saying that there are no bedbugs in the building at all, even though my husband and I are still finding bedbugs and being bitten by them.Yolie has been rude and argumentative since our first complaint of bedbugs, and she refuses to allow us to speak to the owner of the building, Larry Boren.  L.B. Brokerage keep their apartments looking nice, from the outside, but they do not take care of their renter.  And, they don't take responsibility for anything.
