> This is the REAL DEAL!   A true art store.  Today was my very first visit and I didn't want to leave.  They have everything and then some.  They stock the best brushes, the finest water colors and paint supplies, canvas etc etc etc.  They also carry decorative papers at far less than the place I used to buy them at on Melrose.  The same stuff at almost half the price. And if it couldn't get any better, the staff are all incredibly nice and helpful...and they do it with such grace.  I cannot imagine going to any other art supply even tho there is one a bit closer...a few more minutes drive is without a doubt Worth It!  Mary Jean

> I love this place!  They are really friendly and helpful and always ask if they can help you.  They have a really great inventory and no attitude (unlike certain other stores just north of Pico on the same side of the street).  I'm not a professional artist per se, but they still go out of their way to help me and answer my questions.  I really like to see good non-chain businesses succeed in L.A. and highly recommend it to anyone in or out of the city.

> Just went here today to buy paint, crafting supplies and paper for both myself and my 3 year old son. It was awesome! The shop is well stocked and very well laid out. The staff was helpful and friendly. I was very impressed with the supplies they had on offer for the kids too. As it happened to be opening weekend when I visited, there was a 50% sale on some of the product. There was also a musician playing guitar in the store and an artist drawing a beautiful landscape. They even had face painting and food! This is definitely where we'll be getting all our art supplies from now on.
