Wildly inaccurate quote leading to a bill that was 30% higher then promised.  The job also took over a week longer then promised.  Also, miss information given about options and goosed parts prices.  The manager David was not willing to work it out at all.  I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years and I have referred them to others over the years - but not anymore.","rating":1,"date_published":"2016-12-02"},{"author_name":"Dean E.","review_text":"I tried Gene's, and they seem like a decent shop, but they said my Mitsubishi Mirage needed repairs to the A/C that later mechanics didn't think I needed. It was more expensive having Gene's as my mechanic than the mechanics I found later. Good customer service, and I'm not saying they're dishonest. I just think that they erred on the side of saying my car needed more expensive work than necessary.","rating":2,"date_published":"2015-18-09"}]}
