> Los Feliz has been needing a local butcher and fishmonger for a long time, and these guys are fantastic. They're a husband and wife team with extensive experience in some of the best restaurants. They're super knowledgeable and get only the very best on a daily basis, shopping at the same places the top sushi purveyors do. It's small, as is the selection, but what's there is always fantastic quality -- they only stock the best.Ask them how to prepare anything, you can't go wrong!

> So great to have a real butcher in the neighborhood. Yes, it can sometimes feel like a splurge, but especially when entertaining, it's good to have their quality meat. I just wish they had an even bigger selection. Would be nice if this place could be one-stop shopping for a dinner party.

> Mccalls is the best. Love the fish, the homemade sausage and ground beef plus since they expanded I love the bakery and other goodies like quail eggs. Kids love this spot too - including pretzel rolls
