> My first time there. I've seen this place a hundred times in passing, but never had occasion to visit. My son's VW was hit and needed to be fixed. I thought this would be my chance to FINALLY go there and, boy. was I surprised! This guy had complete knowledge of what was needed to repair the damage on the doors. I thought I had to obtain 3 repair estimates to submit to the kid who hit my son's car, but times have changed sinced the 80's. Not only did ( I think his name was) Gus give the lowest estimate, but was clean, honest and finished on time. How's that for service? The kid did not complain that the estimate was high; rather, he was surpised the the estimate was low. A good point about Gus is he is a very friendly person. I didn't get the impression he was out to rip customers off. In fact, before I got there, he was helping another person that was trying to buy an after-market tail light. All the places this customer got quotes from were expensive!  Gus said he was trying to help this guy not get ripped off by those over-priced places. I was impressed! Though I don't know the outcome, I'm sure Gus was a big help.So in conclusion, if you're ever involved in a accident and you want great service, low prices and someone who will explain the work, head over to Ortiz Body Shop. Don't go anywhere else! You'll save money, time and you'll be glad you went there. Tell him Mike sent you.
