I typically go on the weekends and it's never been too busy or crowded. Staff are helpful and can give you suggestions based on your interests. It's located in a vintage looking building in downtown and they have an upstairs area with changing exhibits. Parking can be a pain since it's in downtown, but street parking is free all day Sunday. Check their website for events like lectures, shoes, and author talks.
