I wanted to rebuild my credit a bit so I took a high interest loan with Wilshire of 107%. Since I was told I'd have NO early pay off penalties I paid my loan off after 1 year and 1/2 instead of the 48 months. That was on 3/1/23. My ending balance was $481.48 so I paid that over the phone along with a $5 fee for doing so. I was never late on a payment. 2 days later, (3/3/23), my account was hit for another $36.95 in interest fees, of which $0.22 was interest on the interest. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WILSHIRE CONSUMER CREDIT!!!! Paid 333.00 per month on time all the time and never a problem. We finally make the last payment this past January and get a letter in the mail saying we have to pay an additional $200 plus for an end of contract fee as well as a late fee for not paying it with the final payment which would have made it nearly $600 in January. I called and they agreed to waive the late fee and put the final payment off till the following month. I paid the final $200 plus in February and have been waiting for the title as they said it would take 6 weeks. Today I called and now they want me to pay the latte fee they waived on a bs charge that add to your final payment. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.","rating":1,"date_published":"2016-28-04"}]}
