It's cheap, and the food smells good, but there are better options, probably mere blocks away in Thai town. There is a certain mediocrity to the food at Yai, yet it's filling and OK if you're not too picky. I usually just get take-out here; the Pad Thai was Pad Dry as in dry, rather lifeless noodles. I am suspect of shrimp in most restaurants, so asked for it with chicken, which was also...dry and dull. Thus I cannnot recommend this place wholeheartedly, despite the fact I have gone there several times due to its convenient location.","rating":2,"date_published":"2010-22-11"}]}
