Their machine died not once, but TWICE on us. The first machine died after 45 minutes of being unplugged from a home outlet - the battery is supposed to last 8 hours. When I spoke to them about this they said that it was 'like a cellphone and the battery just loses its power after awhile.\" They didn't offer to bill our insurance - instead saying that (after SEVERAL phone calls) we would have to pay for a new battery or a new unit. Come to find out, after UCSF Case Manager called them we could take it to them to get the battery replaced. Ended up having to replace the entire unit because the machine was faulty. THEN the SECOND unit they gave us (the 'replacement') DIED on us while PLUGGED IN to the WALL and my infant daughter WITH a trach AND respiratory illness was unmonitored during her nap because their machine DIDNT WORK AGAIN. This time it took 15 minutes to get it to turn on. Called their customer service who said we would have to take the machine to them. I asked how I could drive in a car almost 2.5 hours with an infant with a trach & respiratory illness UNMONITORED in the car to BRING THEM the unit? They replied \"I dont know\". AMAZING. The moral of this 'REVIEW\" is this: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you hospital/RT/pulmonary doctor refers you to them - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have POOR 'customer service\" (thats a joke) and are quick to take the money from your insurance company - but don't provide any service to the machine once you have it in your house. You will be out of luck if you do. - Don't learn the hard way like we did!","rating":1,"date_published":"2018-29-01"}]}
