He even drove the car after it was fixed for 40 miles to make sure that the engine light did not go back on. I picked my car this morning and everything was done perfectly and smoothly. he even replaced my light that was out and fixed my tire pressure for free. I am more than impressed and satisfied. I paid 588 dollars, and I am truly grateful I found him. If you have a BMW I strongly encourage you to call him. He is really the best BMW mechanic I have ever been to. I failed my smog test on a newer BMW X3; my check engine was on. I went to my old mechanic and he found 3 things that were wrong with it and gave me an absurd estimate of 1500 dollars. I had a feeling something was wrong with the estimate so I found Alvin through yelp. Every visit cost between 1-2k, and I left with the same issue I came in with. After a over a year of multiple repairs for a stalling battery (stupidly continued going back because of a friend's referral), I tried A's. He was packed and busy, but he took a few moments to perform a diagnostic. He gave me 3 scenarios, thinking that the issue was as simple as replacing the battery. I was apprehensive about his diagnosis because the former mechanic replaced the battery, and said the problem was an electrical issue. I apprehensively got a new battery at Alvin's suggestion and voila! It has been a year since that first visit to Alvin, and my car hasn't stalled once!
